AESTHETIC INNOVATIVE FUNCTIONAL DETAILED
When I created Adcock-Smith Design in 1988, these four simple words expressed
the essence of my business and have ever since been interwoven into each
project with utmost care and detail.
Focusing predominantly on modern twenty-first century residential design, I have
particularly enjoyed the creative challenges of remodeling and expansion.
Additionally, I have delighted in creating unique modern offices for the brave
and unconventional clients who requested them.
My interior design career began in 1977 with a Bachelor of Fine Art Degree in
Interior Design from North Texas State University. In 1976, I was the recipient of the
Earl Herring Scholarship for Outstanding Interior Design Student. Upon graduation,
I began working as a design assistant to David Cadwallader, ASID at the firm of
Joyce K. Wynn, Inc.
In a world of stifling conformity my clients relish the unexpected and unique
quality infused into their interiors. Our designs are filled with unconventional luxury.
Each aspect of the design from the space plan to the color scheme is carefully
crafted to provide the client with a design …
… beyond the status quo.
